WHY DOES THE ANDROID APP ASK FOR MY LOCATION?

We take data privacy very seriously. Unfortunately, Google's updates to Android require Bluetooth LE devices to access a user's location. This change forces us to ask for location permissions in the Muse app.

However, we do not use this data for anything other than to satisfy Android's requirements for Bluetooth devices. In fact, you'll notice you still have to set your region in your account settings. This is a testament to the fact that we are not using your location data.

To enable this please access your "Settings" icon (the gear icon) on your Android device or tablet.  Please search the word "Location" and tap on it to enable it.

Please do not turn off Location services as it will block the headband from connecting.
